Hello, my name is Shanequa, and I am the proud owner of Sugarshop SnS. I have a passion for what I do. When I began, I had no knowledge of running a business; all I knew was that I wanted to bake from scratch like my Great Grandmother and make it a reality. I launched my business in June 2016. It was pretty tough in the beginning,
trying to home in on my skills, learn to decorate, and build clientele. For a few years I wasn't consistent, nor did I have the patience I needed to perfect my craft. At some point I decided that I was going to go all in and see where it takes me. It was the best decision I ever made. As time progressed and
business got better, I started researching ways to enhance my desserts and give them a signature taste. The goal was to make sure that when trying my desserts there was no question who made them. I then started making my own extracts and the more ingredients I researched and made scratch the more I realized how authentic homemade items are and often all these ingredients are used in both culinary and pastry fields. It allowed me to expand my products & their uses, put my business in multiple categories at once, educate my clientele about what they are consuming, create all natural products that also have healthy benefits, and still specialize in baked goods. So here you’ll find a little of everything
